Over the last few years there have been an unprecedented number of casualties in business due to the global pandemic but for us, we have taken this opportunity not only to survive but to thrive through these uncertain times.

Rachel Doyle opened the doors of The Devon Lash Dolls in December 2016, an award winning independent eyelash extension salon in Union Street Newton Abbot after establishing an ever growing and loyal client base from a small room in her family home. As a mum of 2 young children it’s not been easy to obtain that work life balance but the passion and commitment she has shown has been reflected in the commendations and successes of this extremely popular salon and training academy.

In 2016 Rachel was appointed an ambassador for the international lash brand Lashbase, and then in 2018 became the 1st official educator in England. She was also runner up in Young entrepreneur of the year awards hosted at the Riviera International centre in Torquay. She later went on to win Lash bar of the year for the South of the UK at the English NBL awards which was an unbelievable achievement. The salon also places in the top 50 eyelash extensions salons in the country in the Hair and Beauty Awards 2021. 

Rachel continues improving her skills and qualifications. Over the last few months Rachel has stepped away from training for Lashbase by creating her own training academy, “The Devon Lash Dolls Training Academy UK’ which offers courses in everything eyelash and brow related. In addition to her normal course set up she has now converted to online courses to help people learn during lockdown which has been widely welcomed throughout her industry and peers.

She now has two new educators to add to the academy team based in Bristol and the Midlands so the academy can continue to train students throughout the country.

Rachel vision for the academy is to offer top class education through top class trainers.
